Learn More About IT'S A LINDA HANDWOVENS
It’s A Linda® Handwovens was started by Linda Surace in 1983. In 2011, it is still a family affair. Linda and Cara Surace Liedel (mother and daughter) are full-time partners in this business; we will be at many different art shows this year, selling our handwoven rugs and purses. Linda's mother, Alberta Klipple, is now 94 years old, and still weaving with us every day.
We are three generations of American handweavers! An unusual and fun thing in this day and age.
Our goal is to fuse the simplicity and quality of early American craftsmanship with modern designs and colors. COLOR is the expression of our creativity...come to one of our shows and see what we mean!
We sell rugs and purses at shows, and also are happy to design custom pieces for your home: bring your measurements and color samples to a show or contact us for more information.
We also specialize in "heritage rugs"...if you don't know what to do with Grandma's beautiful clothes and blankets, and can't bear to give them away, give them to us! We will handweave you a family heirloom rug, made from the fabrics that are a part of your family's history.
People remain our great inspiration. Come out to a show this year; we would love to meet you!
