OUR HANDWOVEN RUGS and the Story of the Red "L"
We make our handwoven rugs and purses on vintage 2-harness Union floor looms. Our rugs are woven in new cotton or wool fabrics using cotton-poly colorfast frayless warp. We also make room-sizedrugs (up to 16 feet wide and as long as you need!) on our Leclerc Kebec II broadloom.

OUR RUGS and THE RED "L"
Everything we weave has the red "L." When Linda started It's a Linda Handwovens in 1983, she wanted to be able to guarantee her craftsmanship. This led to a dilemma: how to sign her handmade rugs? And so the red "L" was born. The red "L" is woven into the corner of every rug we have ever made; it is Linda's artist signature, and your guarantee. Linda's rugs are ALWAYS guaranteed to wash and wear beautifully.
And so we say... If it doesn't have a red "L," it's just something to walk on.
